Auto-place existing assets

Users with the Can Import Assets user permission can auto-place assets not yet placed on a drawing.

To auto-place assets:

1. Click Drawings. The Manage Drawings page appears.
2. Click on the desired drawing, then click Edit/Markup. The drawing appears.

3. On the left sidebar, select the Asset Stamp tab, and do the following:

   

   1. Use the drop-down to select Existing Asset.

   2. Use the slider to select the stamp size.

      Note: If you are auto-placing multiple assets to a small space, such as a mechanical room, Follett recommends a small stamp size.

   3. Select the desired assets.

      Note: You can filter by system, sub-system, asset type, space, or system zone.

   4. Click Auto Place Assets. The assets populate on the drawing.
