Edit an existing asset stamp

Users with the Edit Markup Drawing role permission can edit an asset by updating the asset stamp directly from the drawing.

To edit an existing asset stamp:

1. Click Drawings. The Manage Drawings page appears.
2. Click on the desired drawing, then click Edit/Markup. The drawing appears.

3. On the drawing, click the desired asset stamp. A pop-up appears.

   

4. Click . The Manage Asset pop-up appears.
5. Make the desired edits.
6. Click Save.

To delete an existing asset stamp:

1. Click Drawings. The Manage Drawings page appears.
2. Click on the desired drawing, then click Edit/Markup. The drawing appears.

3. On the drawing, click the desired asset. A pop-up appears.

   

4. Click . A pop-up appears.

   

5. Do one of the following:
   • To remove the stamp from the drawing but keep the asset in the system, click Delete Annotation Only. The asset appears in the Existing Asset list.
   • To remove the stamp from the drawing and delete asset from the system, click Delete Annotation and Asset.
