Add drawings

Users with the Add Drawing role permission can add a drawing. You can also delete a drawing.

To add a drawing:

1. Click Drawings. The Manage Drawings page appears.

   

2. Click Add Drawing.

3. On the Upload PDF tab, upload the desired drawing.

   

4. On the Select Thumbnail tab:

   

   1. Crop or snip the image to the desired size.
   2. Do one of the following:
      • To automatically create a thumbnail from the current image, click Generate Thumbnail.
      • To choose another image for the thumbnail, click Skip Generate Thumbnail.

5. On the Override Thumbnail tab, do one of the following:

   

   • To keep the current image, click Skip Override Thumbnail.
   • To upload a new image:
     1. Upload the image.
     2. Click Update thumbnail image.

6. On the Grid Overlay tab, do the following:

   

   1. Use the blue sliders to change the scale of the grid.
   2. Click Add or update Grid Overlay.
   3. Click Next.

7. On the Drawing Info tab, do the following:

   

   1. Select a Building.
   2. Select Floors.
   3. Enter a Description.

   4. Enter a Drawing Name.

      Note: To use the recommended drawing name, click the button.

   5. Click Update drawing information.
8. Click Save Changes.

The drawing now appears on the Manage Drawings page.
